Amazon's style guide prohibits special characters, symbols and emoji in the Title field. Using stylised Unicode there risks listing suppression or a takedown.
Each stylised letter is a different Unicode character, not a "font" of the same letter. Amazon's search engine won't match it to a shopper typing plain keywords — use it for emphasis, not SEO.
A single bold or circled callout at the start of a bullet point draws the eye. Style every bullet the same way and it just looks noisy.
Around 70% of Amazon shoppers browse on mobile. Some rarer glyphs (script holes, small caps) can render as a blank box on older devices — always check before publishing.
Script and fraktur styles suit premium or artisanal brands; bold and sans-serif suit tech and utility products. Pick one style per listing for consistency.
Search term fields are indexed as plain text. Stylised Unicode characters won't match customer queries and just waste your limited character allowance.
These aren't custom fonts — each stylised letter (like 𝐀 or 𝒜) is its own distinct character in the Unicode standard, mostly from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block. That's why they copy-paste perfectly into any text field without needing a special font installed.
The trade-off:because they're different characters, not styled versions of A-Z, search engines — including Amazon's — treat them as unrelated to the plain letter. Use them for visual emphasis, never as a substitute for real keywords.
