Role Overview:
As the HR Executive, you will play a vital role in managing the HR functions, from recruitment & onboarding to employee relations & policy development. You will work closely with our leadership team to maintain an engaging, productive workplace while supporting our employee’s career growth & success. This role is perfect for someone with 2-3 years of experience looking to take ownership of HR processes & contribute to a growing tech company.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing: Managing the hiring process from creating job descriptions & posting job ads to interviewing candidates & making hiring decisions.
- Employee Onboarding and Training: Overseeing the orientation process for new hires & organising training programs to develop employee skills & ensure compliance with company policies.
- Employee Relations: Addressing & resolving employee concerns, mediating conflicts & fostering a positive work environment through effective communication & problem-solving.
- Performance Management: Implementing performance evaluation systems, setting goals, providing feedback & managing employee performance issues.
- Compensation & Benefits: Designing & administering compensation structures, benefits programs & ensuring competitive & equitable pay practices.
- Compliance & Legal Issues: Ensuring that the organisation complies with labor laws, regulations & industry standards, & handling legal issues related to employment.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Creating, updating & enforcing company policies & procedures related to HR practices.
- Workplace Safety & Health: Implementing safety programs & ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with occupational health & safety regulations.
- Employee Engagement & Well-being: Promoting employee satisfaction & engagement through various initiatives, such as wellness programs, team building activities & recognition programs.
- Strategic Planning: Aligning HR strategies with organisational goals, contributing to business planning & supporting long-term growth & development.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is usually required. Some positions may prefer or require a master’s degree in HR or an MBA with an HR focus.
- 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in the IT or software services industry.
- Knowledge of Employment Laws: A thorough understanding of labour laws, regulations & industry standards is crucial for ensuring compliance & managing legal issues effectively.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to work independently & in a team-oriented environment.
